$66.00 dollar medical bill I paid this bill in cash .Now I recieved a call saying I had not payed this bill I paid this in cash but I can not find the receipt since it has been so long ago Can they make me pay it again? This was in 2002 Help

If you signed some paper when you were at the medical provider's office in 2002 which amounted to an enforceable agreement or contract and then breached the contract by failing to pay, the SOL(statute of limitations)on that particular debt in the Commonwealth of Virginia would expire five years from the date of your breach which would likely be some time in 2007.(Five years in Virginia on a written contract).
If you signed no such written contract, then the SOL would appear to have expired by now. However,
you should still send written notice vigorously denying the claim within 30 days of its receipt
as it might still be reported to the credit reporting agencies as a delinquency on your part.
