I am being sued by a Collections Attorney Firm and have been issued a Warrant-In-Debt in Virginia, can they garnish my Retirement/Veterans Administration pension?

First, they will need to obtain judgment against you for the warrant in debt. Only after judgment is entered against you can they attempt garnishment.

You need to make sure that you are present in court on all return and trial dates so that default judgment is not entered against you in your absence.
