Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I am a new treasurer of a non-profit organization. the old treasurer moved the money to anther bank that we don't know and doesn't want to talk to the new board. Is there a way to figure out the bank that holds the money using the tax ID and/or the name of the organization so we can present the documentation and get hold of it?

The non-profit should likely sue the former trasurer for the return of its property(the money)

in the appropriate Virginia court. (If the amount is $15K or less, the orgab\nization could file

what's called a Warrant in Retinue in the general district court in the city or county in

which its headquarters is located.)
