Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I am trying to turn in a vehicle I can no longer afford. I am on disability, I collect social security. I notified the finance company and tried to get them to pick it up. I no longer and insure and house the vehicle. Was told they will pick it up in 6 to 8 weeks. Can I take it back to dealership where I bought it and park it and take my tags off so I can return tags to DMV so I will not be penalized by dmv? What recourse do I have? Part of my disability keeps me from being able to deal with stress and anxiety which causes seizures.

You could take it back to the dealership in the manner you've described if they agree to it.

However, no matter how the vehicle is returned to the dealership, they will undoubtedly be pursuing you for what they believe that you still owe them for this particular vehicle.
