Unsecure Credit Cards

I am a housewife, and I take care of my disabled husband, for years we have been living off credit cards to make ends meet, and making payments on time, until recently, I have taken ill, with no insurance the extra money to pay bills, was used for my medicial expence...only income is disablilty from SS, and we own nothing, government owns our home,..I have received an warrant to appear in court, and will be receiving 3 more....what can they do..if we own nothing, and no income..but the disability...do I have to appear in court??? Please any answers will be deeply appreciated...

These are warrants in civil cases. If you don't appear in court on the dates specified, it's most

likely that the court will enter a default judgment against you for each case in which you are a defendant and for which you do not appear.

Whether these judgments can be enforced through a levy and/or attachment or other legal process against your property, whatever that may be, is ,of course, a separate and, undoubtedly, problematical issue(for the ones who would seek to collect).
