Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I have a warrant in debt court date of october 13th. It's from a lawfirm representing a collections agency (dominion law) that purchase my credit card debt from bank of america. What can I do to defend myself? I do not have the money to pay for this amount (roughly 4k). This is in fairfax county
