Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

Warrant in Debt for Medical Bills

My husband is very ill, our medical bills are outrageous but still, I received a warrant in debt. Since it is a hospital suing me, can I offer to work off my debt on weekends within this hospital? I know it is unusal but I wonder if they would be so baffled and would maybe work? Should I write to the attorney or go to the court appointment to offer my services?

Re: Warrant in Debt for Medical Bills

You could contact both the attorney as well as the hospital with your offer to settle the matter.(Unfortunately, however, you should be fully prepared for their summary rejection of your offer.)
