Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I got a warrant from a furniture company and I satisfied the warrant before the court date, got behind on my payment again, the company didn't send out another warrant and got a court order against my checking account. Question, should they have sent me a new warrant seeing that I satisfied the first warrant.
