Warrent in debt

What happens if i do not appear in court for this. can i be arrested for not appearing in court. what will happen if i do not appear for the judge to set a trail date. this debt is for a credit card.

If you don't appear, a money judgment will likely be entered against you. You will not be arrested - appearance is only required if you dispute the claim. Once the money judgment is entered, the creditor/plaintiff can garnish your wages and bank accounts and levy on property. They can also require you to appear to answer questions about your assets. If you cannot pay your debts, you may want to consult a lawyer about the possibility of bankruptcy.
