Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

Following winning in small claims court and multiple extensions to pay me in full, neighbors still have not repaid monies owed, so I filed a lien against their house. County clerk was unsure about reporting this to any of the credit agencies, and my concern is that I wouldn't want anything like this to affect MY credit rating. Is it ok if I send this information to these agencies? Could it affect my credit rating in any way? Is it even legal? My concern is that they are the type of people who wouldn't report it anyway, jeopardizing perhaps others who might conduct business with them.

Yes, as a judgment creditor you are entitled to send reports of this judgment/lien

to any and all credit reporting agencies.(And, no, your reporting of this matter

to the CRAs should have absolutely no bearing on your personal credit rating.)
