Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

I am currently working as a subcontractor for a small magazine. That has not yet gone to print. I have submitted all of my work. I was originally given to different dates for payments. I have proof (txt msg) of the given dates. Then was given a contract that I had to sign in order to proceed. Which states that I will not get paid until the magazine has been printed. They are already running behind schedule and are perhaps stalling. I would like to know what my options are at this point as far as getting paid. If the magazine folds and I don't get paid can I sue and win? Or if they become more difficult to deal with what are my options?

Sure, you can sue, but win, probably, not, (my opinion) unless you can demonstrate that you were the victim of duress, coercion, etc, in signing the contract described.
