Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I HAD 2 MISDEMEANOR charges in 2001 I believe for the same offense. My question is this going to hunt me for the rest of my life. I'm not even sure if it shows up on criminal background check , i know ive been job searching and its been hard.I havent done anything before or since this happended in VA but have moved to FL.

Yes, very likely it will be on your record for the rest of your life since
in Virginia there is no expungement of criminal record convictions
unless you can prove that you were wrongfully convicted and have received a pardon from the governor. Va. Code Sec. 19.2-392.2 et seq.)
