Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
My 18.7year old brother is charged with possession and intent for cocaine. This is hiss first offence in adult life. What is he looking at. Any chance of not going to jail

Your brother should have competent counsel representing him in this
serious criminal matter ASAP and who should be the one in the
best position to answer this question.. And, if he cannot afford to hire
such an attorney on his own, then he should request that the court appoint one to
represent him (if he hasn't already done so).
