Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
9 years ago I had been charged with domestic assault. I now have a job doing security and need to see if it's possible to have that charge expunged so I may carry a service pistol. I have had zero charges after that event .

No, no expungement of your criminal conviction record in the Commonwealth
will occur unless you can prove that under the circumstances described that you were wrongfully convicted of this offense and that you have in consequence thereof received a pardon from the governor. (See Va. Code Sec. 19.2-392.2 et seq.)
