Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
18 years old and I have court tomorrow. I requested that the court appoint me a public defender or an attorney and I have not heard from either. So I was wondering if that meant I won't have one tomorrow for court?

Hard to say on these few facts. You have to meet certain income criteria
in order to qualify for court-appointed counsel. The court will undoubtedly inform
you tomorrow as to whether you qualify and either way will probably continue the case to another date.
