my 17 yr old son was charged as an adult however he was only 17. can he have his charge expunged here in va, because he was a minor

No, as far as I am aware, having legal status as a minor is not a basis for having
a record of criminal conviction in the Commonwealth expunged, particularly, when the
defendant minor was charged (and presumably prosecuted) as an adult.
