Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
when I was 20 yrs old I was found guilty of two misdemeanors. I'm 23 now, in school getting a psychology degree. it is hard for me to get s job or apartment with my criminal record. I would like to know if there is any way I could get my record expunged. I was told that in the state of Virginia it I were found guilty I would not be able to do so. It was my first time getting in to any trouble and I haven't been in any trouble since.

It could be possible to get one expunged if you only have the one, but not two if the second was a separate and distinct offense and not connected with the first.
See Va. Code Sec. 19.2-392.2(F).
