Abuse and Neglect charge on a foster child
I am a foster parent and also am a state licensed day care provider. I had a 17 year old girl that was in my care, she was involved in an auto accident. She was given permission by DSS to go with her friends, as long as she was back by kerfew. I didn't take her to the ER because she said she was fine, only having a few abrasions on her forearm, EMS was on the scene, State Police, before I arrived at the wreck she signed a form refusing transport to the Hospital.I brought her home my neighbor a RN also looked at her arm and agreed there were only abrasions and she said she would be fine, we cleaned and dressed her arm. I didn't tell her social worker until after her father made a complaint. What can I do. DSS took my day care and Foster Care license.

As has been previously advised, you'll likely need an attorney to represent you in this matter in order to get your childcare licenses restored.
