Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Accessing e mail

I access my husband secret e mail address that I did not know he has and find out that he cheat on me. Can he suit me for it and did I violate the low? I also get his cell listing. I just sad I need it and they did not ask me how am I and what for I need it. They just gave me. Is that again something that he can suit me for it?

Re: Accessing e mail

It would be unusual for one spouse to file a civil suit against the other spouse for invasion of privacy, especially given the circumstances you describe. I also doubt this would be pursued as a criminal complaint. Feel free to email me if you have other questions.
