Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Accusation of stolen copper sold to a salvage yard, but son has no idea it was stolen. Detective says he wants to "speak" to my son about it, and yet states he can charge him with 4 felonies. But won't say what they would be, how can my son give them any satisfactory answer when he gathers metal from several places and isn't sure himself where exactly it came from? The detective said he had some " pictures " he wanted my son to look at and explain what they were " to him. We know in our hearts that when he goes down there, they are going to try to arrest him . We are scared for him, we know he didn't intesntionally do this, but it was done and now how to get him out of it is our delima.

As I recommended before, hire your son a competent criminal defense counsel

to evaluate and deal with the situation described rather than attempting without the aid of such counsel to figure out from your end of matters what the cops are likely to do (nor not) in regard to the situation and in consequence thereof what you son may need to do (or not).
