Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

adjudication habitual offender

in a period of 8 yrs, I was convicted of driving on a suspended lic. and was quickly adjudicated habitual offender and my lic was taken for 10 yrs. The reason my lic was suspended each time I was caught driving was 'no insurance' at the time I was pulled over. I've never had my lic revoked because of a bad driving record. But the 10 yr of not having a lic to drive greatly reduced my ablity to earn a living and pay my bills. How can tha adjudication be constitutional.....

Re: adjudication habitual offender

You would be well advised to consult with an attorney to determine whether there's any possiblity that your driving privileges/license in the Commonwealth could now be restored.
