Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
apeal
was convicted in district court of simple assault...appealed case...is it possible to get sentence suspended if found guilty again? all the facts not were not presented in first case.

If you're found guilty again in the circuit court, whether the sentence that you receive as a consequence of that verdict would be suspended all or in part would be up to the judge, and would depend on a variety of factors, including whether or not you have prior criminal convictions.
