Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
is it possible to apologize for a crime I did NOT commit with out implication of guilt or accessorizing myself in a legal fashion

Then why in heaven's name would you want to make such an admission--for
whatever reason-- in the first place when at some future time it might be subject to the rule of unintended consequences (quite common in matters of human relations), and, consequently,"come back to bite you", so to speak, you know where?
