Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
appearance for a misdemeaner
I have already gone to arraignment and the judge said i would get community service, but the community service person had already left so the judge issued a continuance, since i attend college, I was wondering if there is a way where i could ask to do the community service at my university and but not have to attend my next arraignment, and how i would go about doing this?

Re: appearance for a misdemeaner
There is more involved in the disposition of your criminal case than
"community service", and you will therefore need to attend the next arraignment hearing that has been scheduled for your case.
