Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I am applying for a university in the state of Virginia and one of the questions says this Have you ever been convicted of, or pleaded guilty or no contest to, any offense other than a moving traffic violation? Yes or No Less than a year ago a group of friends were on our way to the beach and were arrested in South Carolina for minor possession of marijuana but in the end that was dropped to only a civil charge of possession of drug paraphernalia which I was told would not appear on a criminal record at all. What should I answer to the question?
