Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I was never arrested, but charged with possession on Marijuana in Fairfax County. I accepted a Virginia 251 disposition and am now in the process of completing my ASAP classes and community service. Is this charge currently on my record or is it only added to my record if I fail to comply with the 251 requirements by the 6 month deadline? If its currently on my record, are employers and schools able to see it? Once I complete all the requirements, will it automatically be removed or will I have to go thru some type of expungment?

Yes, if you successfully complete all the requirements of your probation,
your court case should be "closed", but it may, however, (in my experience) still appear on your record depending upon whose or what database may be involved in keeping this particular record.
