Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I was arrested for grand theft larceny - shop lifting in the state of virginia. The total amount of what was stolen was $354 which is the state of virginia anything over $200 is a felony. This is my first offense and have absolutely no previous record. what are the chances that I will go to jail over this offense? and the possibility i can get it reduced to a misdemeanor?
