assult & battery charge
The charged happened 6-7 years ago , what can I do to get removed from my record? I'm working on getting a career job & this is holding me back on background checks.Expunged is what I'm looking for.

Assuming that the charge was a misdemeanor offense, and that you have no other convictions, it may be possible to have it expunged under Va. Code Sec. 19.2-392.2(F).
