Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Back in 2002, I was found guilty of mail fraud. I served less than 2 years probation or a 5 year probation sentence. The probation was just suddenly dropped because I needed to move out of state for family reasons. I paid for a complete background criminal check to be done on myself a few days ago but that felony charge was not on the report. Was it possible that the whole thing was dropped/expunged?

Very unlikely (in my opinion) that the record of your felony conviction "was
dropped/expunged". You may want to recheck it again in about six months to see what shows up at that time.

In Virginia an adult must go to court to expunge. Ask Attorney Sheryl Shane. www.sherylshanelaw.com.
