Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
bad check charge
I think this is my third bad check charge but i'm not sure the other(s) happened a few years ago. My question is can I go to jail. The check was for 30 dollars and it has been paid off

Yes, if you're criminally charged you could go to jail which is a good reason for you to get a lawyer to represent you. (If you are charged with a crime and cannot afford to hire a lawyer, you should then ask the court to appoint one to represent you.)
