What will be the sentence for writing a bad check in the amount of 500.00 hundred dollars the account that the check was writing on is still opeing and the person still get direct deposit every two week in this account should he pay the company the money before the court date.

Yes, the bad check writer should make the bad check good as expeditiously as possible.

Anything over $200 could result in a felony conviction for the writer of the check.

The possible sentencing range depends on whether the individual is charged with a misdemeanor or a felony. I would stongly advise that the individual seek the assistance of legal counsel with this matter, as it is possible in some cases to have this type of charge reduced or even dismissed.

If the individual is not planning to claim innocence in the matter, he/she should also make restitution as soon as possible. If convicted, restitution would be part of the sentence imposed.
