Bank/Bank Teller Errors
The bank has contacted me and said they made an error when they cashed my paycheck. They said that they gave me $300.00 too much. I double checked and they gave me the correct amount. What can they do legally and what can I do to protect myself?????

Re: Bank/Bank Teller Errors
Write the bank in response to their contact informing them of your position on the alleged
overpayment. Carefully describe exactly how
you double checked to insure that the amount that you received was correct. Then keep at least two copies of the letter in a safe place in case
they decide to pursue further action.
