How biding is a out of state witness to testimony subpeona?

If this witness complies with the subpoena and appears to testify
in the trial of the matter, his or her testimony would be evaluated by the
trier of fact(judge or jury) as to its credibility as any other witness in the case.
However, getting this out of state witness properly served with the
subpoena to compel his or her appearance can prove
problematical and a key consideration will usually be the consideration as to how far out of state this particular witness might be.
