Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I bought a car with my adult child to get her started with credit. I am the primary, she is the co-signer. I had an agreement with her for her to give me X dollars a week to cover the car payment and the insurance. She paid me once, left town with the car. I have not seen her for three weeks and she will not answer her phon. Can I report the car stolen I have to make the payments so my credit is not ruined.

If your name is the only one on this car's title, some police
departments might allow you to report the vehicle as stolen under the circumstances described..
However, if your daughter's name is also on this title, I would think not.
