Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Boyfriend caught selling last week.
I was wondering what sentencing my boyfriend could receive when he was caught with 12 ounces of weed.He is 18 years of age. He is being charged with possession and the intent to distribute, also they are bringing him up on charges of smoking tobacco when he was 17. This is his 4th conviction.

With four convictions on his record, your boyfriend could be facing some time in the slammer on this most recent charge. The lawyer currently representing him should have a better idea on this issue than anyone in this forum.
