Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
possible breaking and entering
Over the weekend, while I was out of town, at least 1 to 4 people came into my house and move my Educable Mental Inpaired daughter out of my home. My daughter is 25 but she is, in laymens terms, slightly retarted. I continuely called her over the weekend. Her brother is totally available to be contacted if she needs anything. Plus there are other people she can call. These people did NOT have permission from myself or other half to come into our home nor did they have our permission to take anything out of our home. I knew nothing of my daughter being moved out. Needless to say I was a basket case until I finally found out they came and took her and items out of my home. My daughter says she went willing but even if she is 25 years old, she is not normal as stated above. Is there anything at all I can do at this point to get her back, number one; press charges on all involved, number two. They said that my daughter was in danger of hurting herself. I don't know because thus far she hasn't spoke to me for me to talk with her and find out. I don't know if it is because of the people that moved her or her herself. Please let me know of any questions you may have. Please, let me know what I can do.

Re: possible breaking and entering
Your question is replete with nebulous terms such as "these people", "other half", educable mental impaired,"they said","the people that moved her out",etc.
Until all of these mysterious actors
are clearly identified with respect to their respective relationships to you and your daughter, there is no way to reliably address your question(s).
Furthermore, any court orders which may be currently applicable to your daughter such as an order for guardianship should also be identified.
