Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
my buddy needed a ride home from work so my roommate let me use his car. Was pulled over for speeding and cop smelted weed and searched the car and found it on the passages side of the seat stuffed in between the cracks. Since they can't prove it's mine and I told the cop I smelted weed and even tried to look for it but couldn't find it. Can I still be charged w/ possession of marijuana ?
