Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

I want to know if I have a case to sue the following stores for not checking ID on a man who used my Credit Card. I didn't know this person and he was arrested 2 days later and charged with Credit Card Fraud and Receiving Goods from Credit Card Fraud. The stores are...Dillards, Sprint, Footlocker,WalMart, FoodLion, Lids, Mrs.Fields cookies. In the store Lids the person handed my credit Card to the cashier for them to swipe and he signed the reciept forgining my name. My bank put the money back in my account. But I am so upset that stores i never shop at a because I can't afford there prices never checked for ID. Please tell me if I have a case? And yes I am looking to get money from this too. I am not going to lie. I am mad and not happy that people ID me when using my own card and I Thank them for asking but Not to ask for ID when someone else is using my card.

No, I would not give you much of a case out of this unhappy series of events involving the fraudulent use of your credit card since your bank apparently restored all of the money fraudulently taken and your case would apparently be premised on your being mad and not happy regarding the whole affair, none of which is likely to move a court hearing the matter to award you any significant damages (in my opinion).
