I got a charge for false pretense

My bank file a charge '' for under false pretense and I got warrant for my arrest when I turn my self in they told me that it was a class u felony , how bad is a class u felony??

A class U (undetermined)felony normally means that the prosecutors haven't yet decided how to classify it. One thing should be clear to you by now, however, which is irrespective of how this felony is eventually classified, you should have a competent criminal defense counsel representing you ASAP.

Yes, any felony is serious. Mr. Hendrickson is right.

I really cannot tell what you are charged with from your question. You are charged with doing WHAT "under false pretenses."

But any felony is about as bad as it gets, so you need to attack this head on. Don't wait and wish you had done more. Everything is really on the line, so don't shrug it off.
