If you are charged with a class u felony for finding a scratch lottery ticket belonging to someone else and they find out you found it and charge you with stealing it do you need to hire a lawyer ?? But remember it wasn't stolen it was found in a floor

as you would for any other crime charged as a felony which necessarily by definition means
a serious crime.
