Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I have been charged with disorderly contuct, In Prince William County. We were at a party at a strip mall, the police arrived and told everyone to get out the place was being closed down. I went to the car and waited for my friends to meet me there, I was the passenger of a vehicle and I refused to exit the vehicle. The police was banging on the window so hard I thought he would break it so I got out. When I finally got out they put me in handcuffs and told me I was not cooperating. There was no alcohol or drugs involved at all. I have to return to school, so I need to know what I need to do.

Contest the charge of disorderly conduct if the facts underlying the case with respect to your alleged participation don't fit the crime as charged. And, yes, if you can afford to retain a competent criminal defense counsel to represent you in the matter, by all means, do it
