Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
i was charged with possesion of marijuana on 8/24/09. i did not recieve a ticket at any point in time. on 10/15/09. a random supena shows up. im pretty sure that if you do not recieve a ticket on spot that you cannot be charged. please help.

"A random supena(sic) shows up"? How about a Uniform Virginia Summons to Appear?
Better arrange to see an experienced Virginia criminal defense counsel who can review the documents and the relevant facts and advise as to what you should likely do now under these
apparently somewhat ambiguous circumstances(at least from your perspective).
