Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
I was charged with a threatening phone over a year ago. They are going to not prosecute or null process it. Since these are false accusations can I go back against the prosecutor side and sue for defamation of character. I would like some justice on this matter. Thanks

Depends upon whether the facts in the case were such that
the prosecutor reasonably believed that there was probable cause to believe that you had committed the crime with which you were charged.
You may wish to schedule a consultation with a criminal defense counsel in
your area to go over these facts and who should be able to advise you on this
as well as related issues in the matter.
