Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

What charges could I file suit for? Im not looking for any money, just justice. How would I do this when the summons I received shows that I was the guilty one.

I feel I've been wrongly summoned. I was attacked from behind(it was a group of ppl fighting outside a pizza restaurant) , I then turned to see my friend being struck also from behind.. i take steps toward this person in rage/defense. I get harpooned from a police man on a bicycle. They handcuff me and attemp to take me to the precinct(sp?) They didnt book me, nor brought me inside to speak with a magistrate. They uncuffed me, wrote me a summons for disorderly conduct, and had me walk from there. My brother(who at the scene spoke with a different officer) got the mans information(the man who struck me) and the officer told him I could press charges.

So, press your criminal charge(s) against the one who allegedly struck you.
