Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Class 4 Misdemeanors
My son and I received a ticket for shooting to close to a road (18.2-286). I would like to know if I need to get a lawyer for our court date, and if this goes on my or my son record.

Re: Class 4 Misdemeanors
If you are convicted of a class 4 misdemeanor the most you can receive is a fine, however a conviction will remain on your record.
