Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
A close friend was given 2 years probation (never set foot into a prison) and was told that as a condition of her probation, she had to be in the "custody" of her parents. Pretty much, she was told that she had to live with them. Weird thing is that she is 24.
Is this legal?

Yes, (in my opinion). Why wouldn't it be? However, if your friend may still
be "pretty much" confused regarding the precise conditions of her
probation, she could always request further clarification either from her
probation officer or the court.
