I am a college student in Virginia and I have a clean record never been in trouble before I found an iPad and pawned it and got caught the person got his iPad back and I paid the pawn shop back what's gonna happen to me

Excellent question. However, if you've already been charged, you should have
counsel representing you ASAP. (And, yes, there is such a crime defined as the theft of lost property.)
