Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
Concealed weapon permit
In 1998, When I was 18yo, I was convicted of a class 1 misdemeanor (concealed weapon) it was a BB gun. I paid a fine. In 2001, I was convicted of a class 1 misdemeanor (trespass on Railroad tracks) I paid a fine. Thats all. I am now 28 and would like to apply for a concealed weapon permit. I read the list of disqualification on line but I could not make sense out of the section on misdemeanors. Would my 2 charges prevent me from obtaining a license?

Re: Concealed weapon permit
It's possible, but more information would likely be needed in order to make a definite determination on the issue.
