Construction fraud
Hi, I am a Painter Contractor and I just got charged with criminal felony construction fraud from some clients whom i did work for. They gave me $500.00 down deposit and i was suppose to start the work when my mother was sent to the ER.(cancer patient). I told them that i would have to reset another time to come by because i have to be with my mother and they were really angry .. so i did $200-$300.00 worth of Patch work to there house just to keep them happy and they still filed a construction fraud on me. Now I'm completely stressed out having anxiety attacks because i don't know whats going to happen and whether i will get jail time for years etc. I have proof that my mother was in the hospital etc. what should i do : ( Can you get like 5-10 years for this crime ? I'm so confused
