Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia
if i was convicted of an assualt and got convicted in october 2007 is it to how long do i have before i could take it back to court ive already served time for it but i really didnt do it.

You say you'd now like to "take it back to court", meaning, apparently, for a review of some sort of the fact of your conviction---some two years and one half years after the verdict was rendered and your time served.
No, I don't think so. Better refocus your thoughts to the future rather than dwell
on a past which cannot now be changed.

In the General District Court, you had 10 day to note an appeal and/or 60 days to file a motion to reconsider. It is too late.
